Job Type: Wednesdays & Thursdays, plus occasional Saturdays for bred sales
Purpose: To grow revenue from existing buyers and sellers and to identify and win new business from new buyers and sellers in assigned territory
Key Responsibilities:​

Assist with check-in, sale processing, and data entry during weekly livestock sales

Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to customers and coworkers

Accurately handle payment transactions, tickets, and documentation

Adapt quickly to issues as they arise and offer problem-solving support

Work collaboratively in a team environment during peak sale times
Ideal Candidate Will Have

Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, basic database use)

Confidence in basic math and money handling

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

A customer-first mindset and positive attitude

Flexibility for occasional Saturdays during bred cow sales

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends

Primary Responsibilities

Regularly meet with cattle buyers and sellers within territory to secure weekly consignments for auction

Identify, meet with, and win business from new cattle buyers and sellers in territory

Cooperate with fellow team members with a great attitude
-
Establish and meet goals for territory development; keep current forecast for territory
-
Participate in weekly sales team meetings with sales call plans, best practice sharing, and requests for additional support from the team
-
Maintain contacts, tasks, and appointments in CRM
-
Maintain understanding of current competitive landscape and be able to differentiate services from competitors’ offerings
-
Extensive travel within assigned territory is required
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
-
Experience in the cattle industry (2 years)
-
Strong people skills
-
Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
Compensation
-
Pay range: $40K - $75K including base pay and commissions; commensurate with experience
